Past Events

SandBox has a growing reputation for debuting groundbreaking compositions and exposing new audiences to off-the-radar repertoire. 

We've hosted Grammy winners, film makers, dancers, poets, singers, and more over the course of the past three seasons. Audiences of SandBox have been treated to intimate performances by the Alexander String Quartet, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Mike Marshall and Caterina Lichtenberg, as well as local stars Edwin Huizinga, Nicola Reilly, and others. 

The Monterey Herald calls SandBox "a happening urban arts center with the intimacy of a small local theater. It’s a gem."
