Special Event: Loaded with Promise

Join us on this very special evening  of "Light co-exisitng with Darkness."  Winter Solstice is the great stillness before the sun's strength builds and the days grow longer. Ideas and concepts go to seed and in darkness growth happens and new life begins.  This evening's musical offerings will include arangements by Tammy Hall  of  "Everything Must Change" by Bernard Ighner and "Love's in Need of Love Today" by Stevie Wonder.  We hope that you, our audience  to contribute  in the the creation of this inspired evening with an invitation to share your thoughts.  You wll be welcomed  with beautiful pieces of fabric from which you will choose one on which to write your  poetry, prose, quotes, intentions, wishes, prayers or reflections. Our performers Tammy Hall and Destiny Muhammad will then bring to life these shared throughts through improvised music and spoken word.  This word tapestry will be sewn together into a multi cultural quilt representative of the fabric of  the community we create together.  To compliment the festivities the evening will include a hand crafted selection of food and beverages.  To register for this event presented by Musikiwest : https://musikiwest.org/event/special-event-loaded-with-promise/
