Gaëlle Solal, a globally celebrated French classical guitarist, enchants audiences with her virtuosity and innovative artistry. A prizewinner in over 20 international competitions, including the prestigious 2006 Guitar Foundation of America Competition, she has performed in over 40 countries, spanning iconic venues like the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow and the Teatro Massimo in Palermo.
Born in Marseille, Gaëlle's musical journey began at six, guided by her father. By 14, she earned the Gold Medal at the Conservatoire de Marseille and later graduated from the Paris Conservatoire under Olivier Chassain, earning a top prize. Mentored by luminaries such as Leo Brouwer and Alvaro Pierri, she swiftly emerged as a leading voice in classical guitar.
