A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

A silver lining to the summer of 2020 was the birth of the Manzanita Music Collective. Two friends who were determined to keep the music playing, cellist Michelle Djokic and violinist, Edwin Huizinga launched a sries of porch concerts in Carmel by the Sea. They sold out two concerts every Thursday afternoo and evening to friends and neighbors throughout the entire summer. This musical bond fed our hearts and minds and hopefully fed the community that supported our efforts and joined in the celelbration.
